User Agreement

Welcome to AltoSale. By using our platform you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them. If you do not agree, do not use AltoSale.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and AltoSale Inc., a company registered in England and Wales.

You must be at least 18 years old to use AltoSale. By registering, you confirm you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter a binding contract.

AltoSale may refuse service, suspend accounts, or cancel orders at its discretion.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not hold more than one personal account. Seller accounts require additional verification.

When you buy an item on AltoSale, you enter a binding contract with the seller. You agree to pay the full price shown at checkout, including any taxes and shipping.

Auctions: Placing a bid is a binding offer to buy. If you win, you must complete the purchase within 48 hours.

Buy It Now: Clicking Buy It Now is immediate acceptance of the seller's listed price.

Buyer Protection: Eligible purchases are covered by AltoSale Buyer Protection. See our Buyer Protection Policy for details.

By listing an item you confirm you have the right to sell it and that the listing is accurate. You agree to:

• Honour all sales at the listed or winning bid price
• Ship items within your stated handling time
• Accurately describe condition, defects, and specifications
• Not list prohibited items (see our Prohibited Items Policy)

Fees: AltoSale charges a 5% final value fee on the total sale amount including shipping. Fees are deducted from your payout.

The following are not allowed on AltoSale:

• Counterfeit, replica, or unauthorised goods
• Illegal items or items that facilitate illegal activity
• Weapons and firearms (unless permitted by local law)
• Hazardous materials
• Adult content without proper age verification
• Items that infringe intellectual property rights
• Spam, phishing, or fraudulent listings

Violations may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.

Listing fee: Free for all sellers.
Final value fee: 5% of the total sale price including shipping.
Payment processing: Included in the final value fee.
Subscription plans: Optional paid plans (Starter, Growth, Pro, Unlimited) are available for sellers who need higher listing limits and additional features.

Fees may change with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a fee change means you accept the new fees.

AltoSale and its licensors own all intellectual property in the platform, including trademarks, logos, and software. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of it without written permission.

By posting content on AltoSale (including listing photos and descriptions), you grant AltoSale a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use and display that content in connection with our services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AltoSale is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data.

AltoSale's total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) £100 or (b) the total fees you paid to AltoSale in the 12 months before the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will let you know about material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
