How do I place a bid?

Navigate to any auction listing and enter your maximum bid in the bid panel. AltoSale will automatically bid on your behalf up to that amount. You'll receive an email confirmation and can track your bids in My AltoSale → My Bids.

What is Buy It Now?

Buy It Now lets you purchase an item immediately at a fixed price, bypassing the auction process. Simply click the "Buy It Now" button on eligible listings and proceed to checkout.

Can I cancel an order?

Accepted Answer

You can request a cancellation within 1 hour of placing an order if the seller hasn't shipped yet. Go to My Orders, select the order, and click "Request Cancellation". The seller has 3 days to respond.

How do I use a promo code?

Accepted Answer

Enter your promo code in the cart page in the "Promo Code" field before checkout. Valid codes will show the discount applied to your order total.

Can I save items for later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Click the heart icon on any listing to add it to your Watchlist. Access your Watchlist from My AltoSale → Watchlist. You'll be notified if a watched item's price drops or the auction is ending soon.

How do I know if a seller is trustworthy?

Accepted Answer

Check the seller's feedback score and reviews on their profile page. Sellers with a green badge have completed identity verification. Look for sellers with 98%+ positive feedback and a high number of completed transactions.

What happens if I win an auction?

Accepted Answer

You'll receive an email notification immediately. You have 48 hours to complete payment. Go to My Orders to pay. If payment isn't received within 48 hours, the seller may cancel the transaction.

Can I make an offer on a fixed-price listing?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if the seller has enabled "Best Offer" on their listing. Click "Make Offer", enter your price, and the seller has 48 hours to accept, decline, or counter your offer.
